 The Bicycle Thieves

This 1948 Italian film follows the story of a poor father searching for his stolen bicycle, without which he will lose the job which is a salvation to his young family.

Many struggled against poverty and desparation in the post World War 2 years.

A "heart tearing" film, it was deemed one of the greatest films of all time by a poll of filmakers and critics.

Running time 93 minutes.

Doors open 7pm Film starts at 7:30pm. Hot/cold drinks available . Feel welcome to bring your own wine. Glasses provided.

Entry £2 per adult.  £1 for students/children.

The main purpose of this meeting is to consider the Parish Council's response to Cherwell District Council's public Options Consultation on proposals to meet the provision of a 5-year supply of sites to relieve housing pressure on Oxford.
