11am: Return from Rewalsar - a talk by York Tibet Suppport Group organisers Dee and Rowena on their recent visit to Rewalsar and an update on the community project supported by the group. Located in Himachel Pradesh in north India, Rewalsar is home to many exiled Tibetans and is a sacred place for Tibetan Buddhism.

A meeting called by concerned Sibfordians to explain the government’s Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP) which propose further cuts that will directly affect the acute services offered at the Horton General Hospital.

Keith Strangwood, chair of the Keep The Horton General campaign, and other members of the KTHG group will be present together with Rosanne Edwards, health journalist for the Banbury Guardian and member of KTHG. They will address the meeting to explain the proposed changes which will so directly affect all members of our community. Read more »
