Join us for this month's film "Suffragette" (2015), starring Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham-Carter, Brendan Gleeson & Meryl Streep.

A historical drama featuring a young laundress who gets caught up in the Suffragette movement, and the fight for women to gain the right to vote.


Drinks available, or why not bring your own wine [glasses provided].
Tickets £2 adults, £1 students.
Doors open 7pm and film starts at 7:30pm.

Sibford Gower Gardens open

Gowers Close & Carters Yard

Gowers Close and Carters Yard are two plantsmen’s gardens brimming with unusual plants and marvellous colour. Plant stall at Carters Yard.

Entry £5 (covers both gardens), children free. Proceeds to the National Gardens Scheme who last year distributed £2,637,000 to many charities including £500,000 each to Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, and Hospice UK and lesser amounts to Carers Trust, Queen’s Nursing Institute and Parkinson’s UK to list but some.

We do hope that as many of possible of you will come to support us. Please bring your friends.

Open Day & Country Fair

Featuring performances, displays of work, practical demonstrations, stalls, entertainment, refreshments and more.

Talk to parents & families of prospective pupils at 11am.

Country Fair stalls to run from 10am ~ 2pm and include Lettercarve, The Granary Oil Company, The Jam Lady, Cotswold Beauty, Mira Crafts, Alec H Jones Ironwork, Dotty Daisy, Hook Norton Honey, Jonquil Sabin, Tolly McRae and Pots of Pleasure and Purpose.

Refreshment stalls open from 10.30am including The French Café, The Bap Shop and Cotswold Hills Ice Cream.

"I was glad!" - a concert of regal pieces

Including pieces by Parry and Vaughan-Williams, several pieces sung at the Queen’s Coronation, and two “big” hymns for all to sing.

Performed by the Chapel Choir of Worcester College, Oxford, under their Director of Music, Thomas Allery MA (Oxon), MMus, FRCO. The Choir is comprised of Graduates and Undergraduates of the University, and sings regularly to a high standard, as well as touring cathedrals in this country, and abroad.

£5 a ticket, or a Family (up to six) for £20. Refreshments during the interval. The concert is deliberately early so that families can attend. Do come…it will be a treat.
