This 1948 Italian film follows the story of a poor father searching for his stolen bicycle, without which he will lose the job which is a salvation to his young family.
Many struggled against poverty and desparation in the post World War 2 years.
A “heart tearing” film, it was deemed one of the greatest films of all time by a poll of filmakers and critics.
Running time 93 minutes.
